Renal cluster
Glomerular filtration in the Kidney
It is the filtration of the plasma through the membrane of the cluster towards the tubule. The purpose of it is to work out the glomerular filtrate or primitive Urine. Filtration is carried out by balance of the pressures between the cluster and the Capsule of Bowman. The glomerular hydrostatic pressure allows the passage of the plasmatic liquid but prevents the passage of the large molecules. Contrary, the oncotic Pressure and the hydrostatic pressure of the capsule retains the plasmatic liquid and thus prevents a total filtration. The membrane of filtration lets pass only the small molecules. The illustrated elements of blood and plasmatic Protéine S cannot pass the membranes because they are of too large molecules.
It results from it that the primitive urine or the glomerular filtrate has a composition similar to plasma but it is deprived of plasmatic proteins.
The characteristic of the glomerular capillaries is the going way of small artery with small artery.
