Remi Ceillier
Dom Remi Ceillier , scientist Benedictine French, born in 1688 with Bar-le-Duc, died in 1761 with the Abbey of Flavigny, of which it was Prieur.
He is author of a general Histoire of the crowned and ecclesiastical authors , Paris, 1729 -1763, of 23 volumes in-4, erudite and invaluable work, which competes with that of Louis Ellies Dupin on the same subject, and which contains wide analyzes of each author.
A 24e volume, published in 1782, contains the tables.
It appeared in 1858 at Vives a compact edition of all the work, in 8 volumes in-8.
