Remi Brodard
Remi Brodard , born with the Rock the April 25th 1927 like fourteenth and last child of a family of farmers, is a Political personality Suisse.
Biography
Orginaire of the Rock and Bridge-the-City, it follows the elementary school of the Rock then undertakes secondary studies with the St-Michel College with Freiburg. Bachelor of law of the University of Freiburg, it obtains its patent of lawyer and opens a study in Freiburg to practice the bar of 1957 there with 1960.It chairs then the courts of the Glâne and the Veveyse of 1960 1965 before being named Préfet of Glâne in 1965. Elected official member of the Council of cantonal State on the lists PDC in 1971, it is in load initially of the Management of Justice, the Communes and the Parishes, then, of 1982 with 1986 that of Justice, the Police force and the military businesses.
One retains of his action the new law on the communes of 1980. Its project of Fusion of communes is rejected by the people in 1974. It prepares several important revisions of the cantonal legislation. Left at the head in 1981, it arrives only in 4th position on the list of the PDC and with the 2nd turn of the election of 1986 is not maintained and turns over to its activities of lawyer.
