Rehovot

Rehovot is a town of Israel, in the Central District.

Located in the south-west of Israel at 24 kilometers at the south of Tel-Aviv and at 53 kilometers at the west of Jerusalem, Rehovot was during its creation in 1890 an agricultural base. It is a city of: 104600 inhabitants who owes his rise with science and agriculture. It is indeed a point of intellectual radiation with the Institut of Sciences Weizmann (of the name of the first president d' Israƫl Chaim Weizmann) and the Faculty of Agronomy. It is also a great complex of production of citrus fruits, industrial center of agro-alimentary, glassmakings, plastics and medicinal products.
