Regulate signs (thermodynamics)
The rule of the signs in thermodynamics stipulates that all that returns in the thermodynamic Système, Travail and heat, is counted positively and all that in fate is counted negatively. It is to some extent as for the bank accounts: one places oneself from the point of view of the bank.
Note:: The American thermodynamicians generally use the opposite convention, which thus stipulates that entering energy is counted negatively, that returns the system outside is positive.
