Registration
see also: Etymology of Registration
In Classical music and especially in music of organ, one invites registration art to choose different the registers or plays used in the execution from a part of Orgue.
It is primarily in France during the 17th century, that registration was codified and almost “standardized”. The Compositeur S French of this time often indicated in a very precise way the registers to be used for an execution of their works in conformity with their idea.
