The Regional plans of the Quality of the Air (PRQA) are plans which the French State imposes on the administrative areas and making them obligation every five years to give a progress report on the state of the quality of the air (transmitters, monitoring, health), of a certain number of axes of progress suggested, and their effects on the data and indicating correspondents.

An example of synopsis of PRQA is the following:

• Inventory of the emissions of pollutants
• preliminary Evaluation of the quality of the air (by distiguant the effects on the Environment and the effects on the Health)
• current and future Organization
• Control of the Pollution of the fixed sources and the mobile sources
• Actions of Communication and Information.
