Regional newspaper

A regional newspaper is a Journal whose publication is Quotidien and the diffusion less limited only that of a departmental Quotidien to the geographical plan.

In general, the newspaper is cut out in four parts:

  • the first part of the newspaper is devoted to regional information
  • the second part of the newspaper is devoted to local information (a regional newspaper in general has several editions according to the departments or of the cities where it is sold)
  • There is often a part concerning the sport (as well local as national).
  • the last part is devoted to the national topicality and international. In this last part, one often finds similar articles in all the daily newspapers of topicality régioniale: the articles are directly bought at the news agencies.

One finds headings existing in the national daily newspapers (Météo, Horoscope), that headings being in the local newspapers (small-announce, doctors of guard, demonstrations).

Many daily newspapers diffuse also saturdays TV magazine, a magazine gathering all the tele programs of the week. This magazine is the same one for all the newspapers, only the cover and publicities (which are regional) change.
