Regional management of the judicial police of the Police headquarter

The Regional management of the judicial police of the Police headquarter (DRPJ or PJPP) is a direction of police force attached to the Prefect of police.

Competences

On the geographical level, it is qualified on the departments of Paris, of the Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis and the the Valley-of-Marne. On the legal level, it is in charge with the fight against criminality and the organized or specialized delinquency, with the implementation and the control of the means of technical and scientific police force and legal identity, of the computer tools and operational documentations of assistance to the investigations.

Structures

The PJPP is made up of:

• Six central brigades:
• the Murder squad (the crim')
• the Drug squad
• the repression brigade of the procuring
• the brigade of protection of the minors
• the Repression brigade of the banditism (BRB)
• the Research brigade and of intervention (BIS)
• the subdirectorate of the economic affairs and financial which gathers:
• the Financial brigade
• the repression brigade of the astute delinquency
• the brigade of the frauds to the means of payment
• the repression brigade of the economic delinquency
• the brigade of investigation into the attacks with the people
• the Brigade of investigation into the frauds with information technologies
• the research brigade and of financial investigation
• the territorial services which include/understand:
• 3 divisions of judicial police (DPJ) in Paris
• 3 departmental services of judicial police (SDPJ) in the departments of the Small crown
