Regional district of Cariboo

The regional District of Cariboo in British Columbia is located in the center of the province. It is surrounded by the regional District of Bulkley-Nechako and that of Fraser-Fort George in north, by the regional District of Exchange Coast and that of Mount Waddington in the west, by the regional District of Thompson-Nicola in the east and by the regional District of Squamish-Lillooet and that of Comox-Strathcona in the south. The seat of the district is located at Williams Lake.

Twelve electoral directors and four municipal directors direct the regional District of Cariboo. The electoral directors are elected by the voters and the municipal directors are appointed by their municipal councils. All the directors have a three years mandate.

The regional district of Cariboo serves a regional network of libraries, entertaining surfaces and certain local services of fire control.
