Regen (river)

The Regen (in Czech: Řezná) is a river of Bavaria, in Germany. Its source is located in the drill of Bohemia on the territory of the Czech Republic. The river which is called Regen black (Schwarzer Regen) on this section arrives quickly at Bayerisch Eisenstein. Meadows of the small town of Kötzting it is joined by Regen white (Weißer Regen).

The valley of Regen forms the principal valley crossing the Bavarian forest; much installation human in the mountains is located along the river. The cities along the Regen river include Cham, Regen and Ratisbon. To Ratisbon the river is thrown in the Danube.

The river with an overall length of 165km.
