The refosco dal peduncolo rosso is a Italian Cépage of black grapes.

Origin and geographical distribution

It comes from the north of Italy.

It is classified auxiliary type of vine in DOC. Carso, Colli Orientali del Friuli, Friuli Annia, Friuli Aquileia, Friuli Grave, Friuli Isonzo, Friuli Latisana and Lison Pramaggiore. It is classified recommended in Province of Venice, Province of Gorizia, Province of Pordenone, Province of Trieste and Province of Udine and authorizes in Province of Trévise, Province of Padoue and in area Sardinia. In 1998, it covered 566 ha.

One should not confuse the refosco with the Mondeuse.

  • End of the young white duveteux branch.
  • Young green aranéeuses sheets with bronzed beaches.
  • adult Sheets, with 5 lobes with higher sines out of V opened, moyennemet major, at acute funds, a petiolar sine in quadrant more or less open, teeth angular, average, in two series, a duveteux limb.

Farming aptitudes

Maturity is of second time: 10 days after the chasselas.

Technological potential

The bunches and the bays are of intermediate size to large. The bunch is conical.
