The Réformés is the name of a church of Marseilles located in the district of the Chapitre, in top of the Canebière. It owes its name with the site of the vault of the Augustins Réformés.
The first stone of this old vault was posed by the Duc of Own way the June 20th 1611 and had been dedicated to Saint Nicolas of Tolentino.
After the Legal settlement, it was destroyed the October 31st 1868 for the contruction of the current church.
This church was built according to the plans of François Reybaud which adopted the Gothic style 13th century and the first stone was posed the April 22nd 1855 by Mgr of Mazenod. However, the construction was not without problem:
- in 1862, the architect had been withdrawn and a Architecte priest, the Abbé Joseph Pougnet, remade the plans
- then one needed the assistance of the parishioners of Saint Vincent of Paul in 1885 who joined together three franc million
