The Reduncinae , a subfamily of Bovidae , comprises two kind S:

Kob , or Kobe , or cobe , or cob , is the generic name indicating the Espèce S of this subfamily.

It is not a Antilope as one could believe it, but a Bovidé. The most known species is the Cobe with crescent ( Kobus ellipsiprymnus ; in: Common Waterbuck , of: Ellipsen-Wasserbock ).
This species is called thus because its dress, fawn-coloured color gray-brown, have a large white circle on the posterior one. The gestation of the female is 240 days and it can have only a petit.
One especially finds it in South Africa, Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
