Red library
The red Bibliothèque is a collection of tests on the popular Roman, published by the electric sheep.
The collection, Co-directed by Andre-François Ruaud and Xavier Mauméjean, is thus entitled in homage to famous the green Bibliothèque and pink Bibliothèque. It is about a collection of original tests celebrating the great mythical figures of the popular literature (Sherlock Holmes, Arsène Lupin, Fantômas, Maigret, etc).
Written by writers who place themselves among the best specialists in each character, with the collaboration of researchers as regards popular and police literature, each volume proposes a biography of the hero - as if there had existed. This biography is followed of a historical article of context, of a panorama of the close characters, articles of studies on precise points of the career of the character, his leading context, its creators, its adaptations in other media, studies on heroes of the same kind. The whole profiting from an important iconography. Each volume is supplemented finally little bit of news in homage to the work of origin, putting in scene the character in a new adventure, by writers of all horizons.
Are also laid down volumes on the Judge Ti, Nestor Burma, Conan, Harry Dickson, Nero Wolfe, Jack Éventreur…
