Red hare

Red Hare (in Chinese traditional and simplified: zh-Hant 赤兔, Pinyin: Chìtù ) is a famous Chinese horse having lived at the end of the Dynastie Han.

Historically, Red Lièvre is only quoted in the Chroniques of the Three Kingdoms like having been the mounting of the warrior Lu Drunk when this one, towards 192 - 193, left to face the gangster Zhang Yan. According to the Biography of CAD cheating the , a proverb of the time said: “Among the men, Lu Drunk, among the horses, Red Hare. ” (zh-Hant “人中有呂布, 馬中有赤兔. ”, Rén zhōng yǒu Lǚ Bù, mǎ zhōng yǒu Chìtù ).

Lièvre Rouge was popularized at the 14th century, in the novel epic of Luo Guanzhong Histoire of the Three Kingdoms , where it east depicts as able to traverse thousand Li in only one day (either approximately 415  km being given the length of the Li at the time of the Han dynasty). Lièvre Rouge initially seems a horse of the tyrant Dong Zhuo, considered untameable by a simple human being.
