Red cranium

Red Crâne ( The Red Skull in English) is an Super-unpleasant pertaining to the universe of Marvel Comics. created by Timely Comics (the old name of Marvel) in 1944. The first appearance of the character took place in Captain America Comics #1, (1944) although it is incarnated by an agent Nazi, John Maxon, in Tales off Suspense #65 (1965), following a retroactive revision of its history.

It is one of the principal enemies of Captain America, as well in the past (at the time of the Second world war) as in its present. He is also the person in charge of died of the parents of Peter Parker.

Biography

Born in Germany from a father violate (which tried to drown it and committed suicide shortly after) and from a mother died in layers, Johann Schmidt lived in the streets. He assassinated the girl of a Jewish tradesman who refused to like it.

It was the ally of the Baron Zemo, the Baron Von Strucker and Arnim Zola. It was with the head of a division of HYDRA. It employs regularly the assassin Crossbones.

After having been in American post of minister of Defense, under the secret identity of Dell Rusk (anagram of Red Skull), it seems to be killed by a sniper. It of it is nothing: the Nazi has in fact had the body of a Russian rich person business man via the Cosmic Cube, and officially announced his resurrection with the media at the time of an attack against London.

Capacities

Crâne Rouge does not have real capacities. Its body is a clone of that of Captain América. It is thus strong, and nimble but within the human limits. It is a remarkable gunner, and a very good combatant. Crâne Rouge often uses weapons sophisticated and sometimes of the armours of combat hi-tech. It is especially an expert in plots and handling political.

Its head resembles a red cranium, following an accident during which it breathed its own Poussière of Death. It carried originally a mask, but, after having been victim of its weapon, its true face took the appearance of the mask.

Anecdote

In the first French translations of the adventures of Captain America, appeared at Arédit/Artima, Crâne Red was renamed " Écarlate" cranium;. The goal was undoubtedly not to cause a charge of Anticommunisme, although the character is a former Nazi. The name of " Rouge" cranium; , which is remained, employed by the translations of the editions Lug - Semic was that, where the character was however definitely less present.

Incarnation with the screen

In the film Captain America, left in 1991, Red Crâne was incarnated by Scott Paulin. The character was there depicts like Italian and either German.
