Red Steel
Red Steel is a Video game of subjective shooting developed by the Parisian studio of Ubisoft, which the European version left on Wii the December 8th 2006.
Scenario
The Asian boyfriend of the hero of the play presents it to her father at the time of a lunch in a restaurant of Los Angeles. But during the meal, the girl is made kidnap and his/her father almost killed by Yakuza S. the hero discovers whereas his/her father-in-law is the chief of a clan yakuza. He thus recovers the katana-Giri, which makes of him the heir to the clan and joined Tokyo, in the search of his lost love. The play begins in Los Angeles, but primarily takes seat in the badly-famed districts of Tokyo.
Philosophy of the play
Common thing not very in the video games, Red Steel sets up a real philosophy around the topic to kill or to wound . The play encourages the player to wound the enemies, rather than to kill them; on the one hand because to wound an enemy more quickly filled the gauge of the freeze shot , on the other hand because these same enemies will be able to become your allies later. Moreover, the honor precedes in the play: if your adversary fights with a saber, the player owes rengainer his firearm, and to leave his katana for a combat saber. When the player beats his adversary with the saber, it decides to complete it or to leave him the safe life, which brings back points of respect in this last case.

Gameplay
The play entirely benefits from Wiimote and nunchuk. Thus, the player aims with the lever, it can reload its weapon or open a door by shaking the nunchuk, and hold its lever like a saber to take part in combat of katanas. The player will be able to use several types of weapons, namely firearms or knives. A gauge, called freeze shot fills gradually, more or less quickly in function if the player keep silent or wounds the adversaries. Once the gauge is filled, the player can slow down time (x-ray mode), when it is in a difficult situation for example. The player can then aim at the enemies. Colors appear, expressing the degree of wound inflicted:- the red indicates an unquestionable death
- the yellow indicates a wound
- the green indicates that the enemy will be just disarmed

Multijoueurs mode
The multijoueurs mode makes it possible to play four at the same time. Three modes of play are proposed:- DeathMatch (Combat with dead): Every man for himself, that which eliminates the most adversaries gained. It is possible to choose a limit of time or score.
- Killer (only with 4 players): Every man for himself, the four players receive their objective which must remain secret by the loudspeaker of Wiimote. The first to fill its objective gains points.
- DeathMatch in team: similar to DeathMatch but the players are distributed in two teams.
