This hybrid is a tree of intermediate size from 20 to 25 meters in height, presenting intermediate characters in several connections between his/her two parents, but who inherited the red color the flowers of Aesculus pavia . It is a tree spread in the parks and the large gardens, often in the form of the Cultivar “Briotii”. Hybrids of the red pavier were formed also with the yellow Pavier ( Aesculus flava ) and are indicated under the name of Aesculus X hybrida .
