Red Centranthe

The red centranthe ( Centranthus ruber ) still called lilac of Spain or red valerian is a herbaceous Plante long-lived of the family of the Valérianacées (sometimes aggregate family today with the Caprifoliacées).

Description

It is a rather large plant forming tufts, with the stems and sheets green-grisâtre, rather fleshy, with the higher sheets engainantes, with the scented flowers, pink, red or white, with spur. It particularly likes in many places and affectionate the old walls or the sunny rocks.
