Red Center Light

Red Light Center is a Métavers (virtual universe) adult in 3D available to the public since the beginning of 2006. It allows the user (the “resident”) of living a kind of “second life”. With the difference of Second Life the virtual world is not created by the residents themselves, which reduces the process of exchange and makes it more fluid. The universe is also dissociated by its economy: the residents can create and sell their creations (clothing, real estate). The exchanges are done in rays, a virtual currency which can be exchanged against real currency.

Red Light Center is not a play strictly speaking but a space of exchanges (if the users wish it, it can also be lived like a play), seeking to be as varied as the real life. It is a forum where are expressed social and political engagements in a free and international way; the debates, exposures, conferences, formations, recruitments, concerts, marriages are current events there.
