Recognitive act
Instrumentary act by which a person recognizes the existence of a legal situation attested by a former writing. It causes either to replace the lost paramount Acte, or to stop a regulation.
They are the acts passed in order to recognize a right noted by a former act in date (called paramount act). The recognitive act can be taken only in the condition which it reproduces the content of the paramount act and, second condition, it is necessary that the paramount act is lost (article 1337 of the Civil code French).
