Church often increased during the centuries. The central nave is of Romance pace: three spans separated by beams in semicircular arch. The chorus and the span which precedes it are Gothic; in the beginning this span belonged to the chorus as the trace of the site of a beam of glory shows it. The southern side is also Gothic, but of a rather rustic invoice. The vault of the Virgin is the old vault seigneuriale; it dates from XVIe century as well as the vault of the Sacred Heart (old vault Holy-Anne). One reaches the old vault seigneuriale since the side by an arcade bored at the XIXe century; previously the furnace bridge of the Virgin was on this site: it was a Virgin with respite whose miracles are announced to the XVIIe century. The northern side was built at the XVIIIe century in the Gothic style. On this occasion the frontage of the church was altered and consolidated.

Personalities related to the commune

Henri Lacordaire, born on May 12th, 1802 with Recey-on-Ource (Coast-in Or), deceased on November 21st, 1861 with Sorèze (Tarn), was a monk, preacher, journalist and politician French. Restorer in France about the Preachers (Dominican), it is regarded today as one of the precursors of modern Catholicism.
