the Reception , like the majority of films of Robert Morin, is a believed film. The scenario is based on the history of the Ten small negros of Agatha Christie. Instead of statuettes of small plaster negros, Morin employs rubber frogs.

The film is made with camera with the shoulder by Morin itself, the scenario wanting that one of the guests of the reception is a cameraman come to film the event.

Very quickly, one realizes that influential people already there did everything of the prison for crimes of various nature and which they are joined together there in order to “expect worst”. What returns the veracious film is that the actors are to them-even really of former prisoners, the history which they tells is really theirs.

All the film is impromptu. Morin made a point of approaching various topics by proposing groundworks and while somewhat directing the discussions and disappearances of the guests. It is noticed that it settles a hierarchy quickly there, that clans are formed as in a prison.

Film with very small budget, turned in 1989, it is interesting and makes it possible to see the true face of the things lived by the prisoners.
