Recent tendencies and new drugs
Trend is the acronym of recent Tendances and new drugs . It is about a device French controlled by OFDT, composed of a network of observers made up of associations of users, associations of Réduction of the risks or structures of “first line” like the “shops” or the programmes of exchange of syringes.
This network of observers relates to twelve sites of local coordination of which in particular CEID with Bordeaux, SEDAP with Dijon, the Blue Cèdre, Spiritek and ADDICT with Lille, CMSEA with Metz, CIRDD with Rennes and Lyon, Graphiti with Toulouse, Médecins of the world to Bayonne, Nice and Paris…
This network has the role to place at the disposal of the decision makers, the professionals and the users, the elements of knowledge on emergent phenomena related to the uses of Drogue, likely to modify their decisions or their practices. It is interested in the methods of use products, in the products, the associated damage, the methods of acquisition of the products, the new populations of users and perceptions. The operational stages of the device are the Identification, the description and the comprehension of the emergent phenomena related to produced drugs then information circulation.
The device of Trend observes two principal spaces: “urban space” and “festive space”. Urban space is characterized especially the structures of “first line”, certain specialized health care centres and the places known as “open” the such street and the squat S.
