Rebecca Wright
Rebecca Wright (December 5th 1947 - January 29th 2006) is a American ballerina excelling as well in the traditional roles as contemporary, mainly known when it was the First dancer Joffrey Ballet, of 1966 with 1975. In addition to to have created roles in several ballets of Gerald Arpino, whose Kettentanz, Trinity and Confetti , it also occurred in the roles of Tatiana for The Dream of Frederick Ashton and the Dancer of the street for the Beautiful the Danube of Léonide Massine. After having left Joffrey, it occurred in solo with the American Ballet Theater of 1975 with 1983; she also danced with Broadway in the Musical comedy Merlin in 1982 and appeared in some films like The Turning Point (1977) and on television.
