History

The Club is founded the June 20th 1928 by fusion of “Real Unión Deportiva de Valladolid” and of the “Club Deportivo Español”.

The club reaches the first division for the first time in 1948, while being champion of the segunda. The following year Real Valladolid continued argument the final of the Cut of Spain of football, with the stage Chamartin against the Athletic Bilbao, losing 4 to 1.

The Real Valladolid gains the Coupe of the League of Spain of football in 1983 against the Atlético of Madrid (0-0 and 3-0).
