Real Time Streaming Protocol
RTSP is the Real Time Streaming Protocol or protocol of Streaming time-reality developed by IETF and published in 1998 as a RFC 2326.
RTSP is a Communication protocol intended for the systems of streaming media which make it possible to control a waiter of remote media, offering typical functionalities of a video player such as " lecture" and " pause" , and allowing an access according to the temporal position.
Some waiters RTSP use RTP as protocol of transport for the video/audio data, but of many waiters RTSP use the RDT of RealNetworks for this task.
