Readjustment

A readjustment is a residential therapeutic lodging. It allows a transition between the Hospitalization and the return to residence by follow-up Médical, Psychologique, educational and Social and a progressive return with the life in group aiming to the social rehabilitation and the return to the autonomy. Many different programs exist with each one their specificity.

In France

The admission in readjustment is done on medical opinion, on file containing a adminisrative part, a social part and a medical part. The assumptions of responsibility are those of the Health insurance: CPAM, MSA,…

There exist two kinds of centers, the medico-social centers of consolidation (SSRA: Care of Continuation and Readjustment in Alcoologie) for stays from one to three months and the centers of reintegration (CHRS: Social rehabilitation and lodging house) for stays up to six months renewable.

They are structures including/understanding a medical team (Médecin S, Infirmier S) and speakers ancillary medical (stimulating, social workers,…).
