Read gold die

Read gold die is a series of Japanese novels declined with the format Manga and Anime, the latter having been produced by Sony and Studio Deen (for OAV) in 2001. The original author is Hideyuki Kurata, the person in charge of the animation of the OAV is Shinji Ishimama, the director Koji Masunari.

The success of the OAV pushed its realizers to take to them an action pursuant in the form of a series of 26 episodes. Of slightly lower quality compared with the OAV, this series is held 4 years after the end of the first cycle and takes again characters resulting from the novels and manga. One follows there a friend of Yomiko Readman named Sumiregawa Nenene assisted by a trio of young person Chinese which has they also faculty to handle paper. Together, they launch out in the search of Yomiko which disappeared after the fire from a library. Description

The history of the OAV follows Yomiko Readman (aka: The Paper) which with faculty to model and control paper with its goodwill. Professor replacing, it is in fact agent of the Division of Special operations of the Royal Library of England. After the acquisition of a rare book for its collection, it is attacked by an old man having the capacity to control a giant locust.
