Reactions and interventions vis-a-vis an accident of diving

Reactions and interventions vis-a-vis an accident of diving or RIFAP are a certificate of delivered competence, in France, by the National Technical Commission of FFESSM. It has value only within this federation and other schools or federation ensure of other qualifications in subaqueous rescue.

The formation leading to the delivery of this competence has as an aim the acquisition of the knowledge and know-how necessary to the good execution of the gestures intended to preserve the physical integrity of a victim of Accident of diving, before its assumption of responsibility by the services of Secours.

Prérequis

  • To be federal licensee valid.
  • the necessary minimum age is 16 years. The candidates of less than 18 years must present a written authorization of the legal person in charge.
  • the assets can be validated in one or more meetings. With regard to the numbered capacities 4,5 and 6, the total time volume of formation allocated should be at least 8 a.m.
  • This training, primarily practical, is carried out starting from demonstrations, of the training of the gestures and settings in situations of simulated accidents.

Capacities

There is no control of knowledge which validates the good knowledge of the techniques.
