Raymond Guerin , born with Paris the August 2nd 1905 and died in Bordeaux the September 12th 1955, is a French writer.

Wire of the manager of the Duménil Tavern, in Montparnasse, it makes initially training courses in several large de luxe hotels, where it finds the matter of his novel the Apprentice , then becomes insurance agent to Bordeaux. It begins its career from writer with the publication in 1936 with the editions Gallimard of Zobain , an epistolary novel, followed When the end comes, account of the life and the anguish of his father. After the war, it publishes Retour of cruelty, an exceptional document on Paris of the humanities during the Occupation, and On the side from Malaparte , which reports its stay in 1950 with Capri in the author of Kaputt . In 1953, two years before its death, appears to the Octopuses , novel worked out during its three years of captivity in several stalag S. It dies in September 1955 of the continuations long and painful disease.
