Raymond Etienne
Raymond Etienne became responsible for the community Emmaüs de Peltre, close to Metz, in 1967. This community is member of the Central Union of the Communities Emmaüs, the most important federation of the movement.
In 1985, he becomes the first president of Emmaüs France.
After having received the Legion of Honor in 1992, Raymond Etienne is today president of the Fondation Abbé Pierre for the housing of disadvantaged, and is always the person in charge of Emmaüs Metz.
