Raymond Delaporte
Raymond Delaporte , of his Breton name Remon Ar Porzh is a Breton nationalist.
Bleun-Brug
Doctor in right, originating in Châteaulin, it is a Celtisant scholar, president in 1938 of catholic association Bleun Brug. It rested with the Breton National Parti of which he resigns at the end of 1937, in order to be devoted to the administration of the Bleun-Brug. He is also president of rear Breuriez Brezhoneg er Skoliou (the Fraternity of Breton at the school), association complementary to Bleun-Brug.
The Breton National Party
In December 1940, Olier Mordrel resigns of the direction of the Breton National Parti and is replaced by Raymond Delaporte (assisted his/her brothers Yves and Herve) who will remain at this station until the end of the war. The Breton National Parti directed by the brothers Delaporte tries a policy of non-commitment between the Germans and Pétain. Raymond Delaporte seeks to seem a man gracious, ready to consider a policy reconciling with Vichy, and as a sincere Christian, determined to intervene with the Breton episcopate to raise measurements of excommunication of 1940 of the Breton nationalists. It is also under the influence of his brother Yves Delaporte, 3eminence grise of the party.1941
Scandals of the supply, denounced by the Breton Hour, enveniment the relationship with the administration of Vichy, and in particular the Ripert prefect, that Delaporte had wished reconciling. A change of attitude occurs 1941 progressively in the attacks against Vichy. He writes in this newspaper the April 26th 1941: " what Vichy offered to us up to now, it was a complete tender with its wills, with its whims… what we want it is that the Breton people collaborate with all the other people of Europe in an economic rebuilding, social, spiritual and diplomatic of the continent ". , the June 22nd 1941, at the time of the entry of the German troops in Russia: " It is certain that if a Breton government had existed in Rennes, it had been as of the first day at the sides of the defenders of the New Ideal and the manufacturers of the New Order European. This government would not have waited nine days time to see clearly to give an opinion ".
Exile
It hides in Paris at the end of the war then takes refuge in Ireland where it taught with Cork. His/her brother, Yves Delaporte, hides in Scotland. Both are condemned, by contumacy, at 20 years of forced labors, then discharged in call. It returned to constitute prisoner to expose to the military tribunal to defend how the Breton National Parti (that the Germans, according to him, had never recognized but only tolerated), had been held some with a strict neutrality in the field of the international policy. He declared categorically with his judges whom he suspected that some of them thought in secrecy this day, which he had had the audacity or imprudence to express publicly a few years before.
