Raymond Ceulemans is a player of Belgian billiards carambola .
It was born on July 12th, 1937 in Lierre in the Province from Antwerp. He is recognized like one of the great champions of the history of billiards. He was 35 times world champion, 48 times champion of Europe and 61 times champion of Belgium.
Raymond Ceulemans is diamond-cutter of formation. Child, it had as a passion billiards and football. His/her father held a coffee and had billiards there. It is on this table that the small Raymond involves himself as of the seven years age.
Is 23 years old, Raymond Ceulemans gains its first championship of Belgium to the three bands. Two years later, in 1962, he becomes champion of Europe of the discipline. The following year, in 1963, he is world champion. He was the first player of three bands to have crossed the barriers of 1,500 and 2,000 of average. Its hundredth victory was worth to him the nickname of “Mister 100”.

1992 is one year tumultuous for the large Master. A serious wound with the back is worth three weeks of hospitalization to him. “During three days, I was terribly afraid to be able rejouer with billiards never again”, remembers it this period. But the career of maestro is undoubtedly not finished and it preserves its position among the best players of billiards at the world. In 1995, it gains its last tournament of world cup. Three years later, he plays for his Dutch club Crystal Kelly a part at 45 points and gains a series of 28, equalizing the world records of the Komori Japanese of 1993.
In 2001, Raymond Ceulemans is champion of Belgium for the 61e time and in 2002, he triumphs again in Dutch Cup with his team over the Kelly Hook. The name of Ceulemans will not disappear from as soon as from the lists of participants since such an amount of its sons which its grandsons inherited the virus of “Mister 100”.
In July 2001, Raymond Ceulemans was elected with the Hall off Famed in Las Vegas by the BCA, the main organization of billiards of the United States. During the summer 2002, it was made knight by king Albert.
