Raymond Benson
Raymond Benson (born the September 6th 1955) is an American writer .
Raymond Benson grows with Odessa, with the Texas, where it is interested in arts and more particularly in the music and the theater. He becomes also film enthusiast and reads books enormously.
He makes then his studies with Austin, capital of Texas, and studies in section " Dramatiques" arts;. He launches out then in a career of type-setter of music of spectacle and director. In 1979, it leaves for New York where it composes of the musics and puts in scene spectacles at Broadway.
In 1981, it launches out in a personal project of drafting of a book on James Bond which would approach all the aspects of the myth. Raymond Benson becomes the vice-president of James Bond 007 fan Club, located at New York. He also contributes as an expert be-James Bond to many specialized magazines. He also conceives a scenario for the Roleplay: You Only Live Twice II and is recruited by Glidrose Publications to put in scene a theatrical adaptation of Espions made your plays . The project will however not be born.
Specialist in the video games, Raymond Benson conceives the plays Dangereusement yours (1985) and Goldfinger (1986). He also gives to the same time of the courses on James Bond at the university.
In 1987, he is married and became the father of a boy named Max. He goes back to Austin, where he launches out in the design of many scenarios of video games which bring several prices to him. Regarded then as the largest expert concerning James Bond, he is contacted by Glidrose Publications to take the changing of John Gardner, after the departure of this last, as an author of novels of James Bond. Raymond Benson will publish between 1997 and 2002, six novels original, three news and writes two Novélisation S of films of James Bond.
In 2003, Raymond Benson decides to give up the novels of James Bond and writes her own accounts. It publishes two whodunnits, a study on the group of progressive Rock Jethro Tull and under the pseudonym of David Michaels becomes the author of the best-seller Tom Clancy' S Splinter Cell, series of novel drawn from the video game of the same name.
He also teaches with the Université of Palatine, in the Illinois, where he gives courses on Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and James Bond.
