Ravisius Textor

Jean Tixier de Ravisi , in Latin Ravisius Textor , (v.1480-1524) was a scientist, Humaniste and university French.

Born about 1480 with Saint-Saulge in Nevers-native, he was professor with the Collège of Navarre and became in 1520 vice-chancellor of the Université of Paris.

  • Officina vel Naturae historia per locos , often reprinted encyclopedia
  • De Claris mulieribus , 1521.
