Rathenow

Rathenow is a city of the Brandebourg, in Germany, populated of 27.085 inhabitants (2005).

The voter Frederic Guillaume gained there a victory over the Swedes in 1675.

Monuments

  • the Protestant church Sainte-Marie and Saint-Andrew, at the origin a Basilica. It was rebuilt in Gothic style between 1517 and 1589.
  • the Saint-Georges Catholic church.
