Rate of morbidity

In epidemiology, the rate of morbidity is the report/ratio which measures the incidence and the PrĂ©valence of some Maladie. Within the given period old framework (typically, but not necessarily, a year), this rate indicates the number of people reached by this disease per unit of population. It in general is expressed of many people reached by 1  000, 10  000 or 100  000 people.

Not to confuse with the rate of Mortality : Rough death rate: number of deaths during a given period/population in the middle of the year Taus of specific mortality: number of deaths ascribable to a disease over a given period/population in the middle of the year
