Rate of Transformation
The rate of transformation (English: Conversion misses) is a ratio used particularly in marketing on Internet. It represents the proportion of purchases on a site Internet given compared to the number of visitors having traversed the site.
Certain companies use various ratios to study the results of their sites. Various activities on the site (Remote loading of a software under test, information request,…) are divided by the number of orders and the ratios thus obtained represent the contributions particular to the results of the sales.
So that these data are a good representation of reality, it is paramount that the site does not propose a possibility of orders by another form of mediums. (For example, visit of the Web site but then order by mail which distorts the rate considering the order will not be regarded as coming from the visit of Internet site…)
