Rasm

Rasm is an Arab term which means " trace" , " dessin" , " esquisse" , " manière" , " rate (of taxation) " , but not " orthographe". It is associated with the canonical forms of recitation of the Coran, which follow a mode, an intonation and a rate/rhythm private individuals.

The writing of Coran would have been fixed by “Uthman, third Caliph of the Islam, which would be at the origin of the classification of the Sourate S and with the compilation of the crowned text. The copies of Coran written nowadays always follow word for word and letter for letter this compilation of `Uthman, writing named “ rear-rasm Al-uthmanî ”.

This rasm has diacritic point , neither of signs of Vocalisation or Gemmination or sign of pause, of assimilation, nor the hamza. The rasm is the skeleton of the complete writing.

The text is a passage of the sourate VII the steps , verses 86 and 87; the beginning of verse 86 is truncated as well as the end of verse 87:
