Raphael Thierry

Raphael Thierry (1972 -) is a painter French. The main themes of its work concern the identity and the memory. Its pictorial technique employs the Oil-base paint and the Fusain. It carries out also performances and installations. Raphaël Thierry lives with Paris and close to Avignon.

Biography

Born in Tunisia in 1972, Raphaël Thierry grows in the south of France, close to Avignon. In 1990, it settles with Paris where it studies graphic arts at the University of graphic arts (ESAG Met of Penninghen). Until 2004, he exerts the trades of graphic designer and artist. In 2005, it receives the prestigious concession of the Villa Médicis which enables him to live and work with the French Academy of Rome and to devote itself entirely to the fine arts.

Works of Raphaël Thierry are exposed to London, Paris and in Italy. He lives and works in Paris and close to Avignon, France.
