Raphaël Moreau

Raphaël Moreau (born with Mayenne the July 25th 1902), writer French.

Origin

Wire of the Victoire-Angelica-Constancy and public works contractor Emile-Felix-Raphaël Moreau (born the August 20th 1869) Maupilé (born the July 2nd 1880), Emile Moreau took part in the building work of the metal first Viaduc of Mayenne, built in the fields of the engineer Gustave Eiffel, and with work of enlarging of the asylum of the Rock-Gandon. His wife was to die at the 44 years age.

Professional path

Junior by a family of 15 children, Raphaël-Jacques-Rene Moreau made his studies with the Lycée of Laval (left in 1920), where it had like school-fellow Rene Pleven, then with Paris with the Lycée Janson-with-Sailly, where it prepared the entrance examination to the Central École of Arts and Manufactures. Having contracted a serious disease, it had to give up continuing its studies. In 1925, after its Military service, it ensured various directions in the company of his/her father and the companies which succeeded to him. Occupation the constrained one with a change of community activity. It enters in 1940 the Milk industry as chief of the engineering services of the Perreault Company, function which it had to cease at the end of September 1959, following a new disease. During its activities in the milk industry, he wrote various technical articles in the review Milk and in other specialized publications, in particular studying a new method for the payment of the Lait, which was the subject the one communication of to the Académie of agriculture of France (meeting of the June 10th 1959). In 1967, it publishes an article in the Bulletin of Mayenne-Sciences .

Man of letters

He is also a famous man of letters; moreover, chronicler and gossip writer of value, he collaborated in various publications. In May 1920, it obtains two mentions at the time of a contest organized the newspaper Eve, Parisian famous daily newspaper illustrated of the woman. In July 1921, publication of a poem in Paris-Review, periodic literary, artistic and theatrical, whose Anatole France chaired the committee of honor.

As a chronicler and a gossip writer, it published more than 600 articles in various daily newspapers, regional weekly magazines, national reviews: Ouest-France, free Maine and the regional Scout of the West (which succeeded to him in Mayenne), the Social republic, the News Mayennaises of Camille Lhuissier, Mail of the West , Independent the, the Small Blue of Coast-of-North , the trade-union Voice (bulletin of the Fédération of state education), the Bulletin of the National company of Old and Friends of the Gendarmerie , the Headlight of D, Academic Palms , Défense of the French language… the daily newspapers the Dawn and South-western reproduced whole or part of several of these articles.

It took on several occasions the defense of the French language. In various communications with Défense of the French language, he denounced many neologisms and barbarisms, to reject.

Fixed at Castle-Gontier, he is adherent member of the Société of the Men of letters, where he was sponsored in 1949 by Claude Farrère and Mrs. Georges Day. He is vice-president of the National association of the academic Palmes; departmental president of the National company of old and friends of the gendarmerie; member of the Association of the writers of the West.
