Raphé

In Anatomy, the raphé indicates a line on the surface of a fabric which resembles a seam or a joining, this phenomenon is sometimes due to the fact that two parts of fabric met during the Embryogénèse, it is the case for example for raphé located between the two Testicule S, which walks on under the Pénis and the Scrotum.

This term is resulting from the Greek raphè who means “seam”. It is thus the line joining together fibers constituting fabrics of two anatomical structures symmetrical.

Raphé périnéal

Raphé the périnéal (or raphé median) extends at the man from the Anus to the Scrotum and the Pénis (until the Frenulum). At the adulthood, this raphé is more or less visible according to the individuals.

At the woman, the same development Fetal leads to the formation of the Petites lips.
