Raphèle-the-Arles
The village of Raphèle-the-Arles is located on the territory of the commune of Arles in the Rhone delta (Canton of Arles-Is) at the center of the flat of Crau of Arles, famous for the quality of its hay, the hay of Crau which profits from a AOC. The borough developed much since the Seventies with the installation of several allotments of villas. It counted, with the last census, 2.756 inhabitants.

Places and Monuments
The Saint-Genoa church of Raphèle-the-Arles has a splendid bell-tower and a frontage of Romance style, even if elements like the statues of Saint-Genoa and Saint-Raphaël are very recent. By taking the direction of Fontvieille, Raphèle-the-Arles proposes the olive-growing co-operative " Cravenco" from 1928, then the Abbey of Montmajour or ruins of the Aqueduct and mills of Barbegal.
