Raoul Follereau
Raoul Follereau , born with Nevers the August 17th 1903 and deceased with Paris the December 6th 1977, is the founder of the Association Raoul-Follereau which has since 1967 helped and defended the leprous in particular in the countries of Africa.
It publishes in 17 years its first work, the Book of love in 1920 of which the poem " a sourire". He will write of them 44 in all, poems, novels, plays, accounts of voyages. All its work, print of enthusiasm catholic, tends to fight against the social injustice, misery, fanaticism, the selfishness of the rich person and the powerful ones. Its most known books are: the hour of the poor , the battle of Leprosy and One day of war for peace .
