Raoul Dandurand

the very honourable Raoul Dandurand (1861 - 1942) was a lawyer and a Canadian senator.

Native of Montreal, it studies with the Université Laval and it is allowed with the Barreau of Quebec. He marries Joséphine Marchand, the girl of the Prime Minister Felix-Gabriel Marchand. Named with the senate by Wilfrid Bay-tree, it belongs to the government of Mackenzie King.

President of the Upper House and one of the writers of the Protocol of Geneva, it represents Canada with the Société of the Nations and requires the whole independence of his country of the the United Kingdom. He dies in Ottawa in 1942.
