Randy Meisner
Randy Meisner , is a Bassiste and Chanteur American, born the March 8th 1946, especially known like founding member of the rock group The Eagles.
Biography
Meisner was born in Scottbluff in the Nebraska. It began in 1961 with a group called “The Dynamics” (then The drivin' Dynamics). In 1965 it left in California with a group called The Poor.Meisner became musician of studio. In 1969 it plays on the first album of the group Poco Pickin' Up The Pieces . It left the group before even the exit of the album.
In 1970, Meisner joined the group of Rick Nelson Stone Canyon Band and contributes to two albums. At the same time it is in the group which accompanies Linda Ronstadt, which gives to him the opportunity of côtoyer Don Henley, Glenn Frey and Bernie Leadon. The four guides formed then The Eagles and carried out the first album éponyme in 1972.
The success of “The Eagles” involved the end of its activities of studio and with Linda Ronstadt. Meisner is primarily the bass player of the group and accompanies with the song, but he is also guitarist on certain pieces like “California Hotel” and on the albums Desperado , One The Border and Hotel California .
He wrote or Co-writing also several songs of the first five albums of Eagles, in particular " Take It To The Limit". He is the principal singer of his compositions.
Meisner leaves Eagles in 1977 to make albums in solo, like Randy Meisner in 1978 and One More Song in 1980.
It also took again its activity of musician of studio, accompanying by many artists such as James Taylor, Joe Walsh, daN Fogelberg and Richie Furay. It belonged to the group “Black Tie” which had a hit with a resumption of " Learning The Game" of Buddy Holly.
