Randy De Puniet

Randy De Puniet , born the February 14th 1981 with Houses-Laffitte, is a pilot of Speed motor bike French.

Fore-mentioned Randy in reference to the idol of his/her father Randy Mamola, the spectacular old driver of Grand Prix, it starts with the motocross in the championship of France mini-green in 80 cm ³. It passes quickly to the track, becoming champion of France 125 cm ³ in 1997 and 1998.

It takes part during two seasons in the championship of the world 125 cm ³ on Aprilia before reaching the category 250 cm ³. After its first podiums in 2002, it gains its first Grands Prix at the time of the season 2003, season of which it finishes 4th.

Appearing among the favorites at the time of the following season, it gains one Grand Prix and finishes 3rd championship.

After having tried to pass in MotoGP, it must carry out a springtide in 250 cm ³.

In 2006, it carries out its first season in MotoGP in the team Kawasaki at the side of Shinya Nakano. In 2007, Randy goes up on its first podium in the queen category by finishing second behind Loris Capirossi at the time of the GP of Motegi. It finishes 11th season 2007 with 108 pts.

In spite of a good collaboration at Kawasaki, Randy will roll on a RC212V of the TEAM Honda LCR for the season 2008.
