Randolph Caldecott

Randolph Caldecott , born the March 22nd 1846 with Chester in the Cheshire and deceased the February 12th 1886 with St Augustine Florida, is an artist and British illustrator . It is known for its illustrations of books for children, so much so that a reward carries today its name, the Médaille Caldecott of American Library Association, decreed with the best illustrator of book for child of the year.

It carried out many drawings of riders and hunt and was thus the inspirer of many artists like English Cecil Aldin or French Harry Eliott.
